St. Margaret's School Winter Athletes Honored


St. Margaret’s winter athletes were recently honored at a breakfast for their hard work and dedication throughout the season. The following students received special recognition for their outstanding achievements on JV and varsity basketball, swimming and indoor track:

JV Basketball
Olivia Wray ’12 received the player’s player award from Coach Larry Foulk. Tiffany Sutton ’13 received the coach’s award.

Varsity Basketball
Coach Laura Carney recognized Imani Yasin ’10 as the most valuable player and highest scorer. She also earned a spot on the LIS division II basketball team. Heather Chastain ’11 was the team’s most improved player. The coach’s award went to Lexi Hayden ’13.

Indoor Track
Caroline Casey received the most valuable runner award and was also recognized with a senior award for her dedication over the past three years. The coach’s award went to Quinn Kolbe ’09. Coach Elizabeth Tilbury named Annie Badenoch ‘10 most improved runner.

Varsity Swim Team
Sarah Keating ’09 was named most valuable swimmer and Kendra Gansner ’13 was recognized as most improved. Coach Kay Brooks Carlton recognized Lindsay Beasley ’09 and Flo Snyder ’09 with senior awards for their dedication to the team for the past four years.
